David Smith is world reknown in the Vintage car circles for his meticulous work on Ferraris and most recently, Alfa Romeros. David's love for the 1937 Alfa Romero 8C 2900B Spyder covertible (open) has prompted him to fabricate a new body for one he owns. David will fabricate the body using the methods and techniques that were used in the original construction which requires making a "form" to mold the aluminum body around. David purchased 1/2" Baltic Birch plywood (4'x8' sheets) and had 90 stations cut out with a water jet to precise specifications after having an existing Alfa digitized.
